I just wanted to tell you guys how deeply tonight's performance touched me. It's rare that a dance performance makes me clutch the arms of my chair, breathe fast, sigh, groan, and cry, but tonight's show did that. It was so transformative to watch it,  because of both its physical beauty and its spiritual power. Watching it unwound some very tight knots in me, chipped off some very hard armor. It was good to feel myself coming alive by watching your aliveness. It's amazing how watching an awakened body move can bring awakeness to the watcher. As we say in Zen, "Thank you for your practice."

Tumblebones Sat. was one of the most beautiful performances I have ever witnessed.  Smiled and laughed and caught my breath at some of the impossible movements (like gravity doesn’t affect you guys) and breathed hard at some of the intimacy and sensuality and trust.  And tears at the grandma stories and at that baby in utero pushing elbow and knee at these forces outside reminding me of my son twenty years ago.  More than a performance and more than a dance.  Thank you.

We loved your performance last night very much! We enjoyed the spontaneity, the humor, your skill, and what Dan called the "personal" aspect.  I especially noticed the active inclusion of FEET down below your knees!  What expressive feet you all have!

We couldn't stay to mingle --- but it was a great crowd, and it was fun to see other friends from Magnolia there.

I sort of wanted to hop onto the stage and join you.  I doubt my creaky old body could do anything anymore, but the spirit was there.

I was ecstatic to see your company on stage, and remarked at how reduced the divide between the experience of performer and audience in such a space.   I discovered that Alicia had been in the circus (at least in a past life).  I was so happy to witness new performers on stage.  I cried at your and Steve’s duet.  I wondered at how the some of the stories would unfold if they had continued, deepened further.....

Was a thrill to witness your performance.  I felt blessed.  Thank YOU!!
